3 days / 2 nights Itinerary , elaborated and tested with collaboration of representatives of the physically disabled collective, promoting Bizkaia as accessible destination.

This program has been specifically designed and adapted for the collective of wheel chair users after an exhaustive selection of experiences and the most representative places of the city, counting on specialized guides and guaranteeing accessibility and full enjoyment of the destination.

Day 1. City of Origin – Bilbao

Arrival to Bilbao on client’s account.  Please consult us for transport inclusive options.

Accommodation in a comfortable hotel, fully adapted for wheel chair users, situated at the heart of the city.

In the evening, dinner at the Txocook restaurant, a fisrt approach to the delicious basque gastronomy. Degustation of the regions’ specialities with a perfect blend of the traditional and cutting-edge cuisines.

Day 2. The Great Bilbao

Breakfast at the hotel.

During the morning, adapted tour though the Old Town. The visit will start at the tourism office of Bilbao and will last around 2 hours in which to traverse the pedestrian streets, and visit the Cathedral and the Market. All the places visited have adapted accesses.

At the end of the tour, visit to the Guggenheim Museum. Transportation will be done by tranvía, públic transport fully adapted that perfectly communicates the Old Town with the museum on a short travel along the riverside of the Estuary of Bilbao.

Express lunch at the Bistró restaurant of the Guggenheim Museum.

During the evening, tour along the coastline on Joelette chairs, all-terrain chairs designed for hiking routes, to be enjoyed by physically disabled people. Travel along the Biscay coastline  discovering its beautiful nature, beaches and the impresive cliffs of the area.

At the end of the tour, visit to the Puente Colgante (hanging bridge), declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Dinner on  client’s account. We will recommend places according to the visitor’s desires.

Day 3. Txakoli and Loizaga Tower

Breakfast at the hotel.

After checking out at the hotel, visit the modern Galdames cellars where the Sulibarria family elaborates Txakoli, the traditional white wine from the Basque Country belonging to the Biscay Txakoli Origin Denomination. Stroll through the vineyards on the way to the Baserri (basque traditional house) where to enjoy a paired taste of three specialities of Txakoli, each with a delightful dish.

After lunch, visit the Loizaga Tower, home to the biggest Rolls Royce collection in Europe. The reconstructed medieval tower  is also home to a distinct collection of classic, antique and sportive cars.

All the visit is adapted and accesible to wheel chair users.
